Serving South Dakota dancers since 2007, Barefoot Dance Studios is excited to bring our dance community to Sioux Falls. We believe dance is about more than learning steps, it is about building confidence, creating connections, developing skills, and discovering a lifelong love of movement.
Creative Movement 1 | Ages 3–4
Tuesdays 4:00-4:30pm
Creative Movement introduces young dancers to the foundations of dance through music, imagination, and movement exploration. Dancers will develop coordination, listening skills, confidence, and classroom independence while building a positive relationship with movement.
Creative Movement 2 | Ages 4-5
Tuesdays 4:30-5:00pm
Creative Movement 2 continues developing early dance skills through creative exploration, rhythm, coordination, and introductory dance concepts. Dancers will build confidence, independence, and foundational movement skills while preparing for their next steps in dance.
Ballet | Ages 6-8
Tuesdays 6:30-7:15pm
This beginner ballet class introduces dancers to the foundations of ballet including positions, terminology, posture, coordination, musicality, and classroom etiquette. Dancers will develop strong technical foundations while building confidence and a love for ballet.

Meet Your Instructor
Miss Ashley
Ashley Reyelts is the Owner and Artistic Director of Barefoot Dance Studios. She holds dance education credentials from Arizona State University and has received specialized training through nationally recognized organizations, including the American Tap Dance Foundation, Axis Dance Company, and the Joffrey Ballet. Ashley has extensive experience in curriculum development and early childhood dance education, creating age-appropriate programs that help dancers build confidence, creativity, and strong technical foundations. She is passionate about providing a safe, supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love of dance.
