BALLET/MODERN 1 AND 2

Ages 7-10

This class is a favorite among many of our students. Ballet/Modern is a combo class focusing on ballet technique for younger students. The class finishes each week with a lesson in modern dance. This class meets once a week and performs in our annual recital.

MODERN

Ages 11+

Modern dance is the perfect class for the dancer ready to excel in their technique. This technique is based on Laban/Bartenieff Fundamentals and Release Technique. This class meets once a week and performs in our annual recital. Please inquire with instructor upon registration.

LYRICAL

Ages 11+

Tell a story and improve your technique with Lyrical dance.This class requires Ballet and Modern training and teacher approval. Enrollment in Ballet is required to take Lyrical. This class meets once a week and performs in our annual recital.

CONTEMPORARY

Ages 14+

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements. This class if for dancers in level 5 and up.
