JUSTIN SPECK

Justin is an award-winning educator and theatre director with over twenty years of experience in musical theatre, choreography, acting and directing.  He studied theatre and dance in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota and earned a BA in theatre art. Justin received his master's degree in directing at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Locally, he has collaborated with the Black Hills Playhouse, Black Hills Community Theatre, Black Hills Symphony Orchestra, Black Hills Dance Theatre, and Advocates for Creative Theatre Students.  He has choreographed over forty musicals and directed nearly 70 productions in South Dakota, Minneapolis, Chicago, and New York. He is thrilled to be joining the staff at Barefoot Dance Studio and continue enhancing his career as an artist, dancer, and teacher.
